Horrabridge Times

After a career in print journalism, Christopher Benfield turned his attention to creating a thriving online newspaper.

Published weekly, the Horrabridge Times gives a voice to the local community, from lifestyle to news, public interest, history and local listings. It’s the one stop shop for the people of Horrabridge and its surrounding region to find the stories that matter to them.

The challenge

Christopher requires the ability to access his site at any time, for the publishing and syncing of new stories, and cannot afford to be without access for long periods.

The biggest obstacle presented by previous providers was the lack of quickly accessible, professional customer service.

When technical support was required, automated phone systems would need to be navigated, often resulting in delays with some queries remaining unanswered.

The solution

Christopher discovered Zen through its status as a Which? Recommended Provider, attracted by its high ratings for customer service.

“I thought it was worth upgrading to a more customer focused service for just a few extra pounds per month,” he says.

For Christopher, the experience in switching to Zen was seamless: “Everything went smoothly, and once it was all sorted out, I’ve not had to call back since.”

Initially on switching to Zen, Christopher had signed up to separate phone and broadband packages, but a quick call had that sorted in no time. “I wasn’t on quite the right package initially, but Zen sorted that out for me and put me on a cheaper combined package. It was easy.”

The benefits

After switching to Zen, for Christopher the difference was obvious.

“It was the customer service,” he says. “There was always somebody on the end of the phone or an email who would come back to me quickly with the right advice. It was easy to get through to the team, and as soon as I asked a question it was answered.”

And when asked about the performance of his connection, Christopher is equally impressed: “The experience has been good. It all works faster and I feel it was worth the move. Since I joined Zen I’ve had a pretty much trouble free experience.” [ http://horrabridgetimes.net/]( http://horrabridgetimes.net/)
